On Monday we went to the Zoo. The weather has been so nice and Richard has had a lot of free time from the clinic that we decided to really take advantage of our last months in Columbus. Avery LOVED the zoo, and the petting zoo was her favorite. She was totally fearless, and totally in love with the pygmie goats!
Daddy took her on the merry-go-round, pretty much the highlight of her life!
She loved to kiss the monkeys through that really dirty glass, gross!
Just being outside has been all she wants to do this week! She loves to go outside and pick up sticks and rocks and play with the dog.

Very stubborn little girl- I totally gave in that morning and let her do what she wanted, hence the hat that is too small, nothing but a diaper on, holding cow and a balloon while eating breakfast off of a frisbee. This girls thinks she knows what she wants and there is no talking her out of it sometimes!

This is our nightly ritual- duct taping her into her diaper! We then put on a zip up nighty with a safety pin and now we have to duct tape over the pin so she won't get that off. This kid is Hoodini!

Is the duct tape so that she wont strip down to the nude to sleep? Jake loves to be naked. He has recently informed me that it helps all his danglies to breath in and out (his words). Whatever that is suposed to mean. Anyway, Avery is such a cutie. We are looking forward to meeting her in June. Oh, and congrats on the quick sale of your home.

Yeah, she'll totally strip down naked and then pee all over everything in her crib- gross! She loves to sleep naked though!
She is so cute! I loved the zoo pics and laughed at the carousel picture. What is it with those things?! Luke pulls a fit every time we have to get off! Luke likes his shirt off, but will still where his diaper and pants! I do have a friend who had to duck tape for months just to keep the diaper on!! She has such a fun personality! I love reading your blogs Lori!
Avery is cute! she is adorable and so big! the last time we saw her she was still in her carrier at the resturant. DJ and I are so excited for June.
