In Contract!

We are in contract! Less than 4 weeks on the market and it looks like we'll have this place sold even sooner than we thought! We have to be out by April 30th, bummer. But all is working out well and our realtor has an apartment she'll let us rent for that last month! Now that we are so close to moving I am so sad. I think about all the things I have loved about Ohio and how much I'm going to miss it all! I am going to miss our little house so much. I will always remember it as the place where we started our little family. Already I get teary eyed thinking about leaving it, it seems like a member of the family now! Mostly I will miss the many great memories we made while living in it.
I will really miss the backyard. I LOVE the patio Richard built. It was so nice to eat dinner outside and have bbq's and play with Avery. I loved the flowers I would plant around it, I'm really going to miss my garden too. You could grow pretty much anything with much less effort than I am used to when gardening in Alaska!
I'm really going to miss running in Ohio. Especially my running partner Karen. She made me a much stronger, more dedicated, and dare I say faster runner, (although I'm still not fast.) I'll really miss our long talks on our long runs and running some really beautiful trails. I really loved the Hocking Hills Indian Run, I'll be wishing I was here to run it come September. Makes me sad just thinking about it!

I'll also miss all of the Metro parks we frequented. Mostly Sharon Woods and of course the River Trail. I loved having such great places to go running and being able to get to the River trail from my house. Avery loved getting out in the jogging stroller too. Well, most of the time she did! Kenzie loved Antrim park and swimming in the water. As Richard will tell anyone, she's the best swimmer at the park, by a long ways!

Most of all, I'm going to miss all of the wonderful friends I have made here in Ohio! Richard and I were just remembering deciding to come to OSU and feeling so good about it, like we were sent here for a reason. I really feel that reason is the people we've met and the friends we've made. Our friends here have truely been our second family. Our ward has been so wonderful and there are so many people I am going to just really miss. Thanks to all who have made our experience in Ohio such a great one. We'll always remember this time with such fond memories! Did I mention I really hate change?

Yeah!!!! I am sooo happy for you guys. It sounds like you guys have had such a great time in Ohio and I am sure wherever you go next you can make just as good of memories. I am a little envious at your running abilities...I need to start again.

Hi Lori. It's me, Emily. We are so excited for you guys to move up here...hopefully this will be a really beautiful summer. We're all making lots of fun plans! I wanted to tell you what beautiful photography you do...I love your gallery and your website. I also have a question for you. Where did you get the version of Over the Rainbow by Isreal Kamakawiwo'ole that you used in your gallery? The only one I can find to purchase online is the one from his Ka'Ano'i album that is much more upbeat. I have wanted to use that softer one in my wedding videos for a long time and have not been able to find it. Thanks! Can't wait to see you and that cute Avery again!

Congrats on selling your house so fast! That is awesome! What a relief, eh!? I'm not sure where my parents will settle down now...they're planning on coming to Logan to live for a year or so, but I don't know if they'll stay here or move back up to AK...the beauty is that they can go wherever they want to! :) I'll try to get some after shots of the duck room...I'm sure you'll appreciate them!:) And I'm stoked that you'll be visiting Logan come Junish...I can't wait!
