And the verdict is....

Well folks, looks like I'll be reading Twilight. I'm actually not looking forward to it after reading the posts telling me not to, you all had some good arguments. However, a promise is a promise and the votes for reading it well outweighed the ones against. So I will keep you updated and let you know what I think. I'm only committing to Twilight, if I continue reading will be the real test! I'll start on Monday, since I couldn't handle not having a book to read the last few days I'm already well into My Life in France- Julia Child's book and LOVING it. Not sure if Bella can measure up to Mrs. Child, but I'll give it a go! Thanks everyone for your comments, they were fun to read and sure made me feel popular to have 14 of them! Woo hoo- new record!

Lori- I read all the books and actually haven't found a book that I can't put down since twilight so if anything they will be entertaining.

Ok so you have to go in with an open mind for a far fetched fun love story... otherwise it won't be fun.... Good luck! I am on teh count down to the new moon movie. that is how in love I am! hA!

Good for you...I'm with Amy, and would've been royally ticked if all the "no" comments from the "never read em" gallery won out! :) Phew!! :)

Lori this could possibly be the worst decision you have ever made. See my twighlight post if there are any doubts. This is a weird vampire "cult" that little girls get obsessed with. Save yourself the time and the imaginary drama. Romantic pedophile werewolves and anemic vampire dweebs are for noobs.

I didn't get in on the previous post's comments, but I have to say I couldn't imagine what the pull would be for a story about vampires and werewolves. But, I ended up picking up Twilight when it was a bookclub pick, and I LOVED it. It's the best out of the four, so if you don't get into it, you can stop there. Just enjoy it as a book you just picked up to read, and ignore all the other hype and opinions you've heard--good or bad.

Oh, and when you're done, read this post on Jared's blog. Just a glimpse of what I have to endure...
