So, we are finally all moved in and settled here in Alaska. We also finally have cable- thank you!- and internet, so I no longer have any excuses not to post picts. But, don't get too excited, we all know that even when I do have internet access, I'm not the best blogger. So, here are picts to update you from all of our summer adventures. Of course, they aren't in any real particular order, but we start out at the end, with our drive to AK. Enjoy the picts!

This was what I saw most of on the trip, Richard driving. We drove for 6 straight days, over 3,000 miles and Richard drove every single minute. I tried to drive, but he is too nice.

Poor Avery, this was her situation for the entire drive. Cramped in the backseat. We BARELY fit all of our junk in our car. She was soo good though, with lots of movies and lots of treats she never even complained!

Ahh, the open road! Beautiful, but I'm glad that drive is over!

Throwing rocks in Muncho Lake. She's just glad to be out of the car.

Our favorite pit stop- Laird Hot Springs. Avery loved it too!

We saw a herd of Buffalo along the way and had to let Avery out of her seat to see the wildlife.

Stopping for lunch at Watson Lake at the famous signpost forest.

Taking a break for a hike near Radium Hot Springs,

At the beautiful Lake Louise in British Columbia.

We stayed at the Northern Rockies Lodge in BC, right on Muncho Lake, beautiful!

Taking a quick stop for lunch- somewhere along the way, who knows!

Riding horses with Grandma Luff. She actually didnt' do any riding, once the horse started to move, she was really scared!

Me with most of my Oberg female cousins, still missing quite a few though. We spent Pioneer Day in Cokevill, WY with some of my mom's side of the family. I love Cokeville, we always have tons of food, fun and Oberg craziness everytime we go there.

All of the cousins' kids, waiting for candy at the parade in Cokeville.

Goofing around with Ty and Dane. For some reason, Avery's crib was thier favorite place to play.

Avery, enjoying the country life.

At Bear Lake.

Dane & Avery at Bear Lake.

Avery, Ty & Dane at the Hyrum parade on the 4th. She learned really quickly to wave at the floats if she wanted candy for her little bag!

Some of the antique cars overheated during the parade and broke down right where we were, so we got to get in them and Avery LOVED them. I had to drag her out kicking and screaming!

We enjoyed visiting our good friends the Perry's in Boise right before Rich left for his training.

Avery, my sister Amy and I after the Wasatch Back Relay. With two weeks notice, I got to fill in on my sister's team and was so glad I did! This is a 180 mile, 12 person relay from Logan, UT to Park City. So awesome. If you ever get a chance to be on a team, definately do it. It was totally the highlight of my summer.

Amy and I proudly displaying our hard earned finisher medals.

Avery & cousin Ellie at the Westfall family reunion.

Avery and my good friend Laura at the zoo. This pict was taken right after the cheapo diapers she was wearing leaked all over Avery and I- gross. That's why her shorts are rather miss-matched in the pic!

Avery & I at the City of Rocks.

Avery was pooped after all that hiking!

Richard and I with Rich's sister Heather, on top of Bath Rock in City of Rocks.

Still at City of Rocks.

Cliff jumping near Richard's house. I'm kind of a whimp, so didn't go very high.

Rich is much more brave than I am!
