We're IN!

So, I'm sure you are all SUPER tired of my 5 month old post from Japan. I have been meaning to finish blogging about our adventures there, but ever since I got back I just haven't had it in me. Now we have FINALLY moved into our new place, 3 months late but so glad just to be on our own again! I was so greatful to my parents for letting us, and our dog, stay with them as long as we needed to. But, it is so nice to have our stuff our of storage and have a bit more room. Avery was so happy to see all of her toys again, and has been loving her new room! I love the house, so I think the 7 months of Hell while building this thing might have been worth it. I will spare you the details of our ordeal, but from start to finish, anything that could go wrong with the process did. It was very frustrating, but at least it's over now. We still have the final grading in the backyard and then the rock in on the front and of course painint that will be done in the next two months, but other than that we are done. We unpacked as fast as we could and now after about 2 1/2 weeks it is starting to really feel like home! I will post pictures of the inside later, just wanted to get back on the blog. Here is a cute picture of Avery to hold you over for a while. This was back in Feb when we went to Texas to visist Richard's brother Cliff & his family. I'll write more later!

Avery is looking so much older to me! She is just beautiful! Your house is so CUTE!!! What a gorgeous backdrop too! I've heard horror stories from people you have built homes. Sounds very stressful! I hope you love it though! Can't wait to see more pics! Home sweet home...Alaska!!!!
