Well, it's official- I'm in the race! I was one of the lucky 40 women who got in the lottery! I am so excited, I am never lucky, and the odds were against me with 160 women applying for the lottery this year. I'm really excited, in less than three months I'll be doing this and completing a long time goal of mine! I'm not sure how my first year will go, they say you have to do it once before you feel like you know what you are doing. I definately want to break the 3 hour time limit so that I'll be qualified to run it for life. I know I can do that. I'm actually going to set my sights higher and go for 1:45. I'll let you know how the training goes!

WOW...Lori you are amazing. I don't think I am strong enough to do a race like that. Or I would probably walk most of it, but it truly looks amazing. Good luck!

WHAT?!! YOU ARE AMAZING! I am preparing for my big marathon! It's a 5 K in 3 weeks! I am so scared so looking at the picture of the man running up not a hill but a mountain made me cry! Lori, I look up to you girl as usuaL!
