A shout out to Dr. Richard Luff

Just a few of the lovely ladies I'll miss!

Richard's parents and sister came out for graduation.

Richard and his best good friends.

Yeah daddy! You did it!

Ok, Ok, before you get all crazy on me I totally have a good excuse for why I have not updated my blog in 2 months! We moved out of our house the end of April, and with it went ALL of our stuff with movers to Ak, including our computer. I had absolutely no computer access through May and then we got here to Richard's parents house 2 weeks ago and have been running around, vacationing, partying, etc. Richard is gone for a two day backpacking trip with his Dad and I finally feel like I can sit down and get caught up on other people's blogs and finally post something! We have had tons of changes since I last wrote! The house sold, we moved into a condo for a month, Richard graduated, and on the 4th of June headed out to Idaho and said goodbye to all our dear friends and Columbus. I miss you all already! I am so sad to be moving, but I'm sure the promise of a paycheck after supporting Richard through the past 7 years of school will ease my pain a bit! But I still miss all of our Ohio dental school friends and always will!

So, Richard officially graduated on June 1st from The Ohio State University. Not only did he graduate Summa Cum Laude, he graduated #1 in his Dental class. I am so super proud of him and all of his hard work over the past four years of dental school. I cannot even count all the late nights studying and super stressful tests, boards, etc. He worked so hard and is such a wonderful husband, I am so lucky to have him in my life. Love you Rich!

We are now in Idaho, until Rich leaves on Sunday, the 29th to go to Alabama for 5 weeks of officer training for the Airforce. During this time I'll be headed to Logan, UT to visit with my sisters for several weeks. Then, by Aug 1st we should be reunited in Alaska where we'll be for at least the next year. So, that is pretty much the past two months in a nutshell. Avery is loving being in Idaho and all her "Grandma's". She refuses to say grandpa, so she has 5 grandmas here, one grandma, one grandpa, two great grandmas and one great grandpa, all of which she refers to as grandma, so it gets kind of confusing. But she is adjusting really well to all the traveling and loves the attention. We had fun with Richard's brother Cliff, his wife and kids while they were here for two weeks as well. They left today, we'll miss them lots. Their little twins are one now and so cute!

Well, I guess that's enough of an update for now. I'll try to do better, but no promises until I get settled at home with my own computer. Peace out for now.

You look so cute Lori, but you always do. I have to admit I am a little jealous...I wish we were graduated, but we have to put our time in as well. It was so fun to see you guys, but I do wish we could have spent more time together without all the chaos. I guess we will just have to make a trip to Alaska....YIKES with twins!!!

Congrats Rich and good luck in Alabama.

Lori, I am so glad you finally posted. I've been missing you! Wow! I can't believe all that has been happening in your life and it still doesn't sound like you'll be settled for a while! Hey, we need to get together while you're in Logan. Lezlee and I will both be there after the 4th. I would LOVE to see you! Congrats to Richard on graduating #1 in his class. He has been so quiet about that huge accomplishment. We always knew he was smart! Avery is definitely model material and so are YOU! Your hair is gorgeous!!!! I can't believe you cut it all off!?!?! Or did you! I can't tell but it looks SOOOOOO CUTE in your pictures! Let's get together!
