Here it is, our Family blog!

Ok, we finally did it and created a blog. Everyone else was, so we decided it would be a good idea to keep everyone up to date on our little family and post picts, etc. So here it is, I'm sure that I will fill it with tons of pictures in the future, but right now I am lazy so just put up some old ones. I am taking Avery's 18 month picts this weekend so I will post when done with those. Get ready to see some sassy little shots of our little sassafras. Boy, does she have some tude lately! Good thing she's so cute or we'd be tempted to sell her to the gypsies!
So, a little update about Richard, Avery and myself (Lori, who I suspect will be doing the majority of the posts). We are still in Ohio, still in dental school and still having fun! I stay home with Avery and love that. I also do a photography business on the side that has just really started taking off, so that has been lots of work, but a ton of fun too. Richard just got accepted to a 1 year residency program with the Air Force at Elmendorf Air Force Base in Anchorage, AK. So July 1 he reports to training and then August 1 to his residency. I am ecstatic to be going home! I can't wait, I have missed Alaska so much in the past 10 years of not living there. I am really looking forward to my mom and grannie's cooking, being around animals again, be able to hike in the MOUNTAINS without any people around, fishing, and eating the fish, boating, skiing, all of the fun things we don't do in OHIO! But mostly looking forward to living near family again. We have had so much fun the past 4 years that we have lived in Ohio and I will have a really hard time leaving, but I have missed my family so much! There, I said it, it's out there, I just love you guys! (I just realized it's probably ALL family that will be reading this anyway, so I love you all- or I should say we love you all!)
Ok, enough with the mushy stuff. So, we are here in Ohio, making the most of our last year here and our last Buckeye football season (go bucks, beat Michigan tomorrow). We have had a beautiful fall, the leaves are just awesome! Oh, speaking of leaves, I do have a recent picture of Avery I will post, this was a few weeks ago when Avery had to tag along with me on a photo shoot. We got done early so I took a few picts of her and this was my fave.
As you can see, Avery is adorable! She is such a girl and I am amazed by how early they have thier little girly likes and dislikes. She hates bugs and frogs and things like that. She loves shoes and hair bows and is specific about what goes in her and her baby's hair. She loves to put her shoes on her cabbage patch doll BeLinda. If you can remember a cabbage patch doll's feet, they aren't made for real baby shoes to stay on, and she goes BALISTIC when they fall off. She loves purses and I have already caught her applying makeup TWICE! Boy, am I in for it. The funny thing is she did a pretty good job, besides the loads of eyeshadow on the floor she had quite a bit on her eyelids. Pretty good for an 18month old.

Well, this entry has turned into a novella! Just wanted to welcome you all to our blog and update you a bit. Please come back often and leave comments or email us. We love you guys! Peace out!

LL

Sorry, I am not sure what I did wrong, and why it deleted.
Avery looks like such a sweet little girl. And, I am jealous of your company. It is something I dream of doing someday, having a photography company of my own.

Lori,

I found your blog through Lezlee's. I love it! I hope you don't mind if I frequent it periodically. I just love to see your work! So impressive! Thanks again for taking our family photos last month. I know Ashley was a bugger. You guys were great! Also, I know you are going to be busy come spring, but I would love to steal you and Mel for one more family photo shoot before you go! Let me know when those months open up so I can book you!
