My niece Daisy looking cute! She loves to dress up like a princess with Avery when she comes over.
Andy gave Avery this cute apron set for her birthday. He was really excited to use it to make cookies with me.
Avery and Daisy, two little princesses!
Black bear that we saw while fishing the Russian River- one of 3 I might add! I was freaking out!
Richard and I got away for our 8th anniversary weekend in June. We stayed in Girdwood, went hiking on Mt. Marathon (so I could practice :), fished on the Russian River and had a really great time. This is us at the top of Mt. Marathon overlooking Resurrection Bay, beautiful!
After hiking Mt. Marathon, we walked out to Exit Glacier.
Avery playing in Seward.
Climbing the Butte- Avery, Dane & Ty (with Andy sulking- typical!)
Most of the crew enjoying lunch at the top- we made it with 5 adults and 5 kids all under 5!
Swimming at Wasilla Lake
She sure got brave and would go deeper and deeper. I kept having to call her back in closer, she was up to her chin!

Great pictures. Avery is getting so big.
is this really Jessica Simpson singing on your blog? Seriously? I'm telling Calvin.
Happy 8 years! Avery is looking so old. I can't believe one year makes such a difference. Alaska looks so beautiful. We really have to come up there some time and check it out with you guys. Spokane should be a great starting point, right?
